Kate Middleton and Prince William are vacationing with their children in Greece on one of the most expensive and secret yachts in the world, which belongs to the royal family of Abu Dhabi, local publication Enikos reports .

The couple are accompanied on their trip by all three children: George , Charlotte and Louis , as well as Kate’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton. According to the publication, the family flew on a private flight to the Greek airport of Kefalonia and from there secretly headed aboard the megayacht Opera.

Opera, which is called a “floating palace”, was built in Germany just two years ago and is considered one of the largest yachts in the world. Details about its interior are kept a closely guarded secret, but it is known that there is a swimming pool, a beach club and two helipads on board. The luxurious 479-foot (146-meter) vessel is owned by UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed and is not rented out, so it is likely that the owner himself invited the British monarchs to spend their holidays on it.

For 43-year-old Kate, this trip has special significance. Last year, she was diagnosed with cancer and underwent chemotherapy. After a year of treatment, the Princess of Wales announced that she was in remission . Now Kate has returned to her official duties and appears in public more often : she recently attended the women’s final of the Wimbledon tournament, as well as a gardening event, where she personally planted a rose named after her.
