He opened a karate studio that became widely respected and attracted attention from Hollywood, laying the foundation for his later career in entertainment.

Norris rose to international fame with films such as The Delta Force and Missing in Action, and television audiences knew him as the disciplined lawman in Walker, Texas Ranger. He earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and was named an honorary Texas Ranger. His early collaboration with Bruce Lee also highlighted his skill and influence in martial arts.
